Purniss is an early-stage, engineering-driven digital manufacturing network founded in Guangdong by hands-on application and quality engineers. We don't claim to own a hundred machines under one roof or hide behind a black-box pricing algorithm. Instead, we focus strictly on four capabilities—CNC machining, rapid casting, 3D printing & polymers, and surface finishing—combining 1-on-1 engineer DFM reviews with a selective roster of audited specialist shops, in-house outgoing QC, and open-book, itemized quotes.
A single factory naturally builds around the spindles on its own floor. That works well when your part matches their exact setup, but multi-process builds or varied batch sizes often get forced onto ill-suited equipment.

Large automated marketplaces optimize for instant algorithmic quotes and open bidding boards. Because vendor selection and broker markups are sealed inside a single lump sum, technical fit and shop-floor continuity can vary from lot to lot.

A hands-on team of application and quality engineers between your CAD file and a curated roster of audited Guangdong partner cells. We match each operation on technical fit, verify parts in our QC room before dispatch, and stay accountable to your bench.

One engineer, from your file to your bench
As a lean engineering-led team, we don't hand you off between script-reading sales reps and anonymous sourcers. One application engineer owns your project from initial CAD review to final dispatch and replies within one business day.
Your IP stays private—never posted to a public job board
Uploaded files go straight into an access-restricted project folder covered by our standard confidentiality commitment—and if you prefer a countersigned mutual NDA before sharing CAD, we sign one upfront. Your drawings are never broadcast to an open supplier bidding board; only your engineer and the specific shop cell running the operation receive the views they need.
Reviewed by an engineer before it is priced
An application engineer checks tool reach, thin-wall deflection, datum strategy, and coating build-up on critical fits before calculating cycle time and material yield. You get candid, practical shop-floor notes you can act on in CAD—not an unexamined algorithm number.
Matched to a vetted specialist cell
Over years on the Guangdong shop floor, our engineers have screened 60+ regional facilities to maintain a focused roster of partner cells across CNC machining, rapid casting, 3D printing, and surface finishing. We assign your job based on spindle envelope, material experience, and tolerance track record—and explain the routing upfront.
Disciplined milestone tracking across operations
We don't claim to station a staffer beside every spindle 24/7. Instead, your engineer locks the traveler instructions, confirms workholding and anodize-masking callouts with the shop lead before machining starts, and shares timestamped shop-floor photos at each operation handoff.
Verified in our QC room before dispatch
Parts are never drop-shipped blind from a partner shop. After production, every batch comes to our Guangzhou QC room for visual inspection, pin and thread gauge checks, CMM verification on critical GD&T callouts, and raw-material cert review. You sign off on the inspection packet before boxes are sealed.
Custom foam-packed & delivered to your bench
We pack finished parts in custom-cut EPE foam slots so cosmetic anodized faces and precision datums never rub in transit, handle export and destination customs on DDP or DAP terms, and archive your CAM and fixture notes so repeat orders run on the same setup.
Why engineers work with us
A stated fee, not a hidden margin
Most sourcing quotes arrive as a single black-box unit price. Change a pocket radius or tighten a bore and a mysterious new total comes back—turning every design revision into a guessing game instead of an engineering trade-off. As a young team built by engineers, we earn trust by showing our math upfront. Toggle a design revision on the example part below.
Price updated per revised drawing.
Every shop-floor and logistics cost—raw stock, machine time, finishing, outgoing inspection, and freight—is itemized openly at cost. Our engineering service fee is fixed at a transparent 12% share of the quote total (88% direct production & logistics, 12% Purniss), covering 1-on-1 DFM review, partner cell management, outgoing QC, and our remake guarantee.
Take our quote apart
A typical broker quote is a sealed black box. Ours comes apart into the exact shop-floor cost for each operation and our stated engineering fee—with zero hidden markups or supplier kickbacks in between.
